The story follows two high school girls, Yoshiko and Haruko who are in love with some popular guys. One day, while cleaning the pool locker room, they find a foreign notebook that said that at night, mermaids appear in the school pool. If someone eats the flesh of said mermaid they will be able to get together with the person they love. So these two girls go shopping for things like knives and crowbars with which to whack the mermaids.
